Eluethrococcus (Acanthopanax) sieboldianus ‘Variegatus’ Variegated Five-Leaf Aralia
Exposure: Part to Full Shade (Can tolerate full sun, but the plant will not be as vigorous and may have burned edges on the leaves)
Flowers: Insignificant
Ornamental Characteristics:
This tough, multi-stemmed shrub can brighten any garden corner with its creamy-white variegated foliage. During the growing season, Five-leaf Aralia maintains clean, burn-free leaves, which is hard to find in variegated foliage. While Eluethrococcus takes a couple years to really establish, it is well worth the wait and is relatively vigorous after this period.
