Tuscan
Gold was selected for its intense yellow foliage
during the first half of the growing season.
Once the heart of summer encroaches the months of June and
July, the
yellow fades to a nice medium green.
About this time, the plant explodes with 3” clusters of ½”
bright yellow
flowers. Fall
changes the leaves to a
rusty orange hue. Just
as its
purple-leaved cousin (Aubury Purple), cutting the stems back to 12” in
early
spring will increase foliage intensity and compactness.
Keep this plant away from excessive winter
moisture to maintain health and vigor.
