 Yes, this is another one of our “what the h_ll is that” plants.  Remember, all because it is not known does not mean its not a great plant.  Neillia begins the spring with medium green foliage that remains disease and insect free all season.  In May it takes center stage with racemes (droopy spikes) of delicate pink flowers.  The show last for several weeks.  It is forgiving of soil and moisture, performing admirably in most situations.  Removal of some old canes immediately after flowering will allow the plant to retain vigor without sacrificing flower power.
